Third degree black belt and instructor under Bernardo Faria. He is also a black belt in shotokan and a brown belt in uechi-ryu. Dan has competed for many years and hold multiple IBJJF gold medals as a black belt, and was a Pan Ams bronze medalist as a purple belt.
